Service Details

Module 1: Transition from feeder to feeder-free culture (from 1 cryovial on MEFs to 5 cryovials on feeder-free culture)

One cryovial of a human pluripotent stem cell line is thawed onto feeder culture conditions. The cells are passaged once on feeder culture conditions before the transition to feeder-free. The cells are then expanded to 2x10cm plates and frozen into 6 cryovials. One cryovial is thawed to test the recovery post-thawing and for mycoplasma testing. Different feeder-free culture conditions can be used (Coating: Cultrex, Vitronectin, Laminin 521. Media: mTeSR1, StemFlex, mTeSR Plus or other media if needed).

Module 2: Expansion and freezing (from 1 vial into 5 vials)

One cryovial of a human pluripotent stem cell line is thawed onto feeder free culture conditions. The cells are expanded to 2x10cm plates and frozen into 6 cryovials.

Module 3: Expansion and freezing (from 1 vial into 20 vials)

One cryovial of a human pluripotent stem cell line is thawed onto feeder free culture conditions. The cells are expanded to 7x10cm plates and frozen down into 21 cryovials.

Module 4: Sub-cloning
